White wedding flowers with a lot of green is the most traditional and the best flower arrangements for church.

Red rose and white rose along with greens is also very much traditional and that is the whole point that weddings in church cannot be very much outrageous.

You can experiment to a certain extent and that will mean things like the blue and white wedding flowers as opposed to traditional white and green flower arrangements for a church.

Always Check with Chapel

A lot of churches as in house packages available for use and these simply the packages which are ready made and there will be packages that are not ready made so you will have to call in a few days in advance and ask for those special custom made floral arrangements for the church wedding.

Altar Flower arrangements are large enough and on each side so that they can be easily seen.

Pews generally are decorated with simple ribbon and nice smaller flowers. Apart from these you will need the pew pomanders and the pew foam.

Candelabra flowers – In the traditional church setting you will need flowers for all sorts of things including the candelabras.

Always consult the Minister for church flower decorations

This is a must otherwise you may be in a for a rude shock later as you near the wedding day because there are do’s and don’ts for each church as far as wedding decorations are concerned.

Placement of Flowers within the Church

Most of the churches will allow flowers in the chancel and that will mean the place between the communion rail and the altar.

Pews are generally fine with all the churches

Altars flower arrangements are also Ok as far as flowers are concerned on both sides.

The Narthex or the end of the sanctuary is generally allowed but you may need to check with the minister.

For the Altar generally there are large floral arrangements.

For the candelabras use the floral arrangements but those on the floor just use the greenery as opposed to the flowers

The other combination that people use is that they have black baccara roses along with black magic roses and then add some filler like berries or sliver leaves.

This combination of black baccara and the black magic looks plainly spellbinding because of the fact that both are deep red and they look wonderful in the slightly contrasting colors as far as wedding flowers are concerned.

Tip: Since the black magic rose are deep dark red they will look good with any pink, gold or silver in a nice bridal bouquet.

Tip#2 – While having a photograph make sure that the dress you are wearing is not very dark in hue like the wine colored dress or the dark blue because this black magic bouquet will then look like big holes in the dress and you will have to digital improve the photographs.

The color of this flower can be white or orange or even dark blue.

Dahlias – these flowers are the most easily available flowers in the summer season. Though these may not be used as the main theme flower of the decoration but are great additions as far as the other arrangements are concerned.

Summer wedding Colors

The most traditional summer wedding colors are the white and the pink and this means that you can have a white themed wedding or a pink themed wedding as well as you can make sure that you have flowers that are those colors and apart from the list above the flowers that can be had are these Delphiniums.

The other color which is common in the wedding in summer is the blue color but you need to make sure that the color blue is not the dark one but a lighter shade of blue.

Rose is the all time favorite

I would be wrong to not include the all time favorite flower which is the rose and in summer rather than choosing the fall wedding flowers and the colors like burgundy and the dark blue you can select the white or the pink roses. The best part is that now rose is not considered to be part of the season thing. The roses are now available is all the seasons without any hassles including the silk wedding flowers roses.

In fact the summer wedding flowers can be broken down into two three months and these months have a color associated with each one of those.

Tip : The best bridal bouquets are made when you combine the flowers and the combinations can be made according to color or according to the season as in you can combine a spring weeding flower with a summer wedding flower like the Roses along with tulips or the peonies. Then again a lot of things depend on your wedding theme.

June wedding flowers – The wedding month of June is considered the brightest and that will means that the wedding flowers for June that you will choose will be the brightest.

Think of it and the brightest color that is associated with June is the color pink as well as the white. The main flowers for this season as I already mentioned above are carnations, dahlia and for the blue effect add the hydrangeas and the gladiolas.

July Wedding flowers – The July wedding flowers are those which are more or less tropical in nature and that will mean colors that are more towards the yellowish or the bright red. The roses in color yellow are the best ones when it comes to July weddings.

August wedding flowers – The august means nearing the falls season hence the colors that are in use are more towards the fall those there is nothing like the burnt orange there. Then again there is the case of flowers which are less red and that means you will have to use the arrangements which are red as well as orange or the pink and the white combination. The flowers that are available are the orchids, calla lilies, chrysanthemums and these are well known as summer wedding flowers.

How to achieve the Blue color in Hydrangea – The blue color in hydrangea is because of the amount of aluminum which you use when the hydrangea is grown and hence there are chances when you order these the floral company will tell you that there is no gurantee of an exact color match. So be careful about this fact when you order Hydrangeas.

Tip: You can very easily make a bride or bridesmaid bouquet with the hydrangea flowers using the six or ten cut stem hydrangea flowers.

Cost:  In general the cost of each stem is $3 – $6 based on how much bulk you can order.

Delphinium is another very good blue colored flower though I must say that it slightly more on the darker shade of blue.

Meaning of Delphinium – This is also commonly know as Larkspur or the Lark’s heel and they are dolphin shaped and they convey a feeling of open heart and devoted attachment.

Colors available in Delphinium are light blue, purple, white and the usual blue.

The stem bunches of generally 10 or more can be ordered from the retailers. The cost can be around $ 120 – $150. Each stem will generally contain 15 – 20 blooms.

If you are getting these shipped you will get these a bit dehydrated and it will take some 8-12 hours for them to be totally hydrated and bloom to its glory again.

Other flowers which are there are veronica, sea holly, statice and iris.

The blue color combinations that you can use are of course

White and blue is the best combination. Light green may go well with light blue or the olive green color can be used very effectively with blue.
